Solar meadows are power stations that function as wild meadow nature reserves. Working with engineering companies this was an exciting opportunity for us to implement biodiverse wild meadow planting and habitat creation on a vast landscape scale. We have planted many hundreds of acres of wild meadow habitat that will remain undisturbed for at least the next 25 years. Upland solar meadows in Cornwall are managed as farms with farmers grazing sheep among the panels or cutting hay on an annual basis.
