We propose to add a glass roof to the old St. Peters ruin in Bristol to create a unique public facility. The existing function as war memorial will be protected and enhanced. The ruin will be preserved beneath the canopy protecting and making safe the structure. This will allow the building to reopen to the public as a venue and an artwork in its own right. Revenue will be generated through wedding hire and dry hire use as a venue.  Acting as a giant glass house the chapel will house an extensive peace garden within. Planting will enhance the use of the building as a venue for civic events and a place of quiet contemplation.
